Acoustic Performances by HTMA Members under the Gazebo
The HTMA Gazebo Concert will be at the gazebo at Burritt Museum, Sunday September 10 from 1:30 to 4:10pm. The festival is a showcase for the talents of HTMA members. We have a great line up of HTMA member performers:

Current HTMA members will be admitted free. Simply let the Burritt Museum people know that you are a HTMA member. If you are not a current member, we encourage you to sign up before the event at https://www.huntsvillefolk.org/membership. The annual fee for individuals is only $15 or $20 for the whole family. And, if you sign up now, your membership will be good for the rest of 2023 and all of 2024. If you are not a member of HTMA, the regular Burritt Museum admittance fees will be in effect to gain entrance to the gazebo.
Don’t forget to bring your favorite chairs or blankets. Seating is informal. Some people sit right in front of the stage while others sit further back in the shade trees. So, join the HTMA today and join us for this fun concert!
Featured Performance: The Old Fashioned Rhythm Method
In 2011 Chuck King and Tom Dameron joined with Jason Bailey to form The Old Fashioned Rhythm Method, a unique musical trio made up of Trumpet, Tuba and Tenor Banjo. The group enjoys experimenting with different styles of music ranging from Traditional New Orleans Jazz, Blues, and The Beatles to tunes from the 1920s.
The three members are unique in their own right. Chuck King is a music teacher, professional photographer and incredible trumpet player and vocalist. Tom Dameron is a professional artist, retired hospital Pharmacist and tuba player. Jason Bailey is a professional mandolinist, composer, teacher and studio musician who is active in a number of performing groups in Birmingham and is considered one of the best innovators of the acoustic music scene.

Kay Corder and Kim Cappaert form the Special K’s and blend their vocal harmonies with guitar and ukulele tunes. They describe their music as folk and are inspired by the melodies of Secret Sisters, John Denver, and the Wailin’ Jennys amongst others. And they actually met at an HTMA jam!

The LeCroys with Special Guest Stephan Dudash
Stephan Dudash playing gypsy jazz fiddle, accompanied by John and Vickie LeCroy.
John and Vickie LeCroy have been musical collaborators for well over three decades and bring great fun and musicianship to any performance. Their music encompasses a wide array of genres and eras from all over the world, from sophisticated to simple, but always played with joy and musical panache. They have performed for appreciative audiences in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. They currently reside in Nashville Tennessee, where they love to collaborate with fine musicians, and are pleased and proud to perform with Stephan Dudash.

The Yellow Dandies brought their unique blend of originals and bluegrass music to the Burritt Concert Series on May 23rd, 2023.
