Acoustic Performances by HTMA Members under the Gazebo

The HTMA Gazebo Concert will be at the gazebo at Burritt Museum, Sunday September 10 from 1:30 to 4:10pm. The festival is a showcase for the talents of HTMA members. We have a great line up of HTMA member performers:

Current HTMA members will be admitted free. Simply let the Burritt Museum people know that you are a HTMA member. If you are not a current member, we encourage you to sign up before the event at

. The annual fee for individuals is only $15 or $20 for the whole family. And, if you sign up now, your membership will be good for the rest of 2023 and all of 2024. If you are not a member of HTMA, the regular Burritt Museum admittance fees will be in effect to gain entrance to the gazebo.

Don’t forget to bring your favorite chairs or blankets. Seating is informal. Some people sit right in front of the stage while others sit further back in the shade trees. So, join the HTMA today and join us for this fun concert!

HTMA Welcomes New Production Volunteers

We're delighted to announce that Tye Davis (doing business as Davis-Giles, LLC) will take over duties as sound technician for our live music productions.

In addition to Tye joining the HTMA crew, Phil Searcy is our new key production logistics person. Phil started in this volunteer position after the August coffeehouse, when he loaded up the collected HTMA PA and light gear in his Honda Pilot and carried it home. Phil’s job is essential for most HTMA performances, and it isn’t easy. This is a huge commitment, and the HTMA community owes Phil a ton of appreciation for offering to take it on. It’s definitely a labor of love.

HTMA Membership Jam Meetings

In the auditorium at the Huntsville/Madison County Downtown Library from 130pm to 4pm. Dates are typically the 3rd Sunday of the month. Bring an instrument and / or your voice and play along. Many songs we play can be found in the Parking Lot Pickers Songbook by Dix Bruce. Check HTMA emails for more details.
